Terms & Privacy
Last updated: August 2026
Welcome to thejanesha.com.
I believe terms and privacy information should be understandable, so I have tried to keep this page as simple as possible.
By using this website, purchasing a product, downloading a resource, joining a programme, or subscribing to my emails, you agree to the terms described below.
Terms of Use
Using this website
The content on this website is provided to share ideas, resources, products and services related to Seamless Flow and my wider work. You are welcome to read, share links and quote short sections with appropriate credit. Please do not copy, reproduce, republish, sell or distribute substantial parts of the website, books, activities, downloads, courses or other original material without permission.
Digital products
When you purchase a digital product from me, your purchase is for your personal use unless another licence is specifically stated. This means you may download and use the material yourself, but you may not:
- share purchased files with others
- upload them to shared or public platforms
- resell or redistribute them
- reproduce them as part of another commercial product
- present the material as your own work
If you would like to use my material for a team, organisation, classroom or training programme, please contact me about appropriate permissions.
Seamless Flow – Interactive Edition
The Interactive Edition of Seamless Flow combines the digital book with online reflection activities. Some activities allow you to save your responses in your browser and download personal reflection PDFs. Where an activity says that your responses are stored locally, they remain in that browser or device rather than being sent to me. If you clear your browser data or change devices, those saved responses may no longer be available, so please download anything you would like to keep.
Purchases and payments
Some products are sold through third-party platforms such as Payhip.
When you purchase through Payhip, your checkout and payment are also subject to Payhip’s terms and privacy practices. Payhip states that it may process and disclose personal information to service providers where needed to operate its services. (Payhip). Prices, currency and any applicable taxes will be shown before you complete your purchase.
Refunds
Digital products are normally made available soon after purchase. Because digital content can be accessed immediately, refunds may be limited once access or downloading has begun. However, nothing on this website is intended to remove any consumer rights that apply to you by law. EU rules include specific protections for digital content and conditions around when a consumer may lose a withdrawal right after requesting immediate digital supply. (European Commission)
If you:
- receive the wrong product
- cannot access something you purchased
- receive a defective file
- believe the product is materially different from its description
please contact me and I will try to resolve the issue.
Courses, coaching and services
Courses, coaching, consulting, workshops, speaking engagements and other services may have their own payment, cancellation or participation terms. Where additional terms apply, they will be provided before you enrol, book or enter into an agreement.
Educational purpose
My books, articles, activities, courses, newsletters and other resources are intended for educational and personal-development purposes. They are not a substitute for medical, psychological, legal, financial or other regulated professional advice. You remain responsible for your own decisions and actions.
Results
People come to this work with different circumstances, priorities and experiences. I therefore cannot promise a particular result from reading a book, completing an activity, using a planner, attending a course or working with me. The aim of my work is to provide ideas, questions and practical tools that you can consider and adapt to your own circumstances.
Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, original content created for this website and my products belongs to Jane Sha / Seamless Flow. This includes writing, activities, graphics, downloads, course material, frameworks and other original resources. You are welcome to reference my work with appropriate credit. Please ask before reproducing substantial portions or using the material commercially.
Third-party websites
I sometimes link to websites or services operated by other organisations. Once you leave this website, their own terms, privacy practices and policies apply. I am not responsible for the content or practices of independent third-party websites simply because I have linked to them.
Website availability
I do my best to keep this website and its interactive resources working properly. However, websites occasionally experience maintenance, technical problems or interruptions that are outside my control. If you have paid for something and are unable to access it, please contact me.
Privacy
Your privacy matters to me. This section explains what information may be collected when you use this website, why it is collected, and what choices you have.
Information you choose to give me
You may provide information when you:
- contact me through a form
- send me an email
- subscribe to a newsletter
- download or request a resource
- purchase a product
- enrol in a programme
- enquire about coaching, consulting or speaking
Depending on what you are doing, this may include information such as your: name, email address, message, purchase information and any information you voluntarily include in an enquiry. Please do not send sensitive personal information through ordinary website forms unless it is genuinely necessary.
Information collected when you visit the website
Like most websites, some technical information may be collected automatically. This can include information such as:
- browser type
- device type
- approximate location based on IP address
- pages visited
- referral source
- date and time of visits
- cookie information
This information can help understand how the website is being used and identify technical problems.
Why I use your information
Personal information may be used to:
- respond to your enquiry
- deliver something you requested
- process and support a purchase
- provide access to a product or programme
- send emails you have chosen to receive
- maintain and improve the website
- keep appropriate business and transaction records
- comply with legal obligations
- protect the website from misuse or security problems
- I do not need to know more about you than is reasonably necessary for these purposes.
Email and newsletter
If you subscribe to my newsletter or other updates, I may use your name and email address to send those communications. You can unsubscribe at any time. Unsubscribing from marketing communication does not necessarily prevent necessary transactional messages relating to something you purchased or requested. Where processing relies on consent, EU data-protection rules allow that consent to be withdrawn. (European Commission)
Purchases through Payhip
When you purchase a product through Payhip, Payhip processes information necessary for the transaction under its own privacy practices. (Payhip). I may receive information relating to your order, such as your name, email address, product purchased and transaction details needed to provide the product and customer support. I do not receive or store your complete payment-card details simply because you purchase through Payhip.
Interactive activities
Some Seamless Flow interactive activities are designed to save your answers locally in your browser. When an activity specifically tells you that your reflection is stored locally, the answers are not intended to be submitted to me. This allows you to return to your reflection on the same device. You can normally remove locally stored information by clearing the relevant browser data.
Cookies
This website may use cookies or similar technologies to help the website work, remember preferences, understand website usage or support third-party services. Some cookies are necessary for basic website functions. Other cookies, particularly analytics or marketing cookies, may require your consent depending on where you are located and how they are used. You can also manage cookies through your browser settings.
Who may receive information
I do not sell your personal information. Information may, however, be processed by service providers that help operate the website and business, for example:
- website hosting providers
- email and newsletter platforms
- form providers
- payment and ecommerce services such as Payhip
- analytics or website-security providers
- professional advisers where necessary
These providers process information for their own services or on my behalf according to their respective roles and policies.
How long information is kept
I keep personal information only for as long as it is reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was collected, or where records must be retained for legal, accounting or business obligations. Different types of information may therefore be kept for different periods. For example, an ordinary enquiry does not necessarily need to be retained for the same length of time as a financial transaction record.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live and the law that applies, you may have rights regarding your personal information. Under the GDPR, these can include rights to access personal data, correct inaccurate information, request erasure in certain circumstances, restrict or object to some processing, obtain certain data in portable form, and complain to a supervisory authority. (EUR-Lex) If you would like to ask about information I hold about you, please contact me. I may need to verify your identity before acting on a privacy request.
Keeping information secure
Reasonable steps are taken to protect personal information. However, no website, email system or online service can guarantee absolute security. Please also take care when deciding what information you send through an online form or email.
Children’s privacy
This website and its products are primarily intended for adults and are not designed to intentionally collect personal information from young children. If you believe a child has provided personal information that should not have been collected, please contact me.
Changes to this page
My website, products and the services I use may change over time. I may therefore update these Terms & Privacy provisions when necessary. The latest version will always appear on this page, along with the date it was last updated.
Questions?
I have tried to make this page useful rather than complicated. If you have a question about your information, a product you purchased, or anything on this page, please contact me.
